Mango Mousse (Veg)

If you are a Mango lover, this is the recipe for you. A perfect combination of taste and texture! Recently, one of the blogger’s in Home Bakers Guild (Harini Mukundhan) had shared her version of the Mango Mousse recipe, and I was all excited to try it out myself. So, here goes the Mango Mousse (Veg) recipe…

3 Ripe Mangoes
1 Cup Whipping cream
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla extract
1/2 Cup of granulated sugar

Use a blender to puree the ripe Mangoes (you can add 1 teaspoon of water). Add the Vanilla extract and whisk the ingredients together, and set aside.

In a separate bowl (glass or steel), whisk the Whipping cream for 5 minutes until it increases in volume and forms soft peaks (add sugar to balance the sweetness of the mango pulp). Blend the mango pulp into the whisked cream. Add the mixture into the serving glass. You can add some mango slices as toppings too (optional). Refrigerate the Mango Mousse for at least 6 hours (patience — refrigerate it overnight for better consistency).
